Our Philosophy

Kato Kakala
Kato Kakala is denoted in Tongan as a basket of flowers. It is a mix of different kinds of flowers, of different colours, different fragrances, different natures, different beauty and different names.

The different flowers signify the children in our center and their differences which make them unique and special in their own ways. The basket that keeps the flowers together represents our mission to our center as it holds together the young children and shaping them for their future.

It is the responsibilities of the educators to rearrange the flowers, water them, nurture and look after them to ensure that these beautiful flowers blossom, nourish and blooming as they grow. And that is our vision to develop and enrich teh environment for the kakala (children) with a view of making them PLEASANT, INVITING, COMFORTABLE, and HOMELIKE.

Therefore, Kato Kakala Akoteu has every intentions of fulfilling their educational obligations to our young learners ensuring that their educational needs are met so they can develop physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and culturally to reach their full potentials as young individuals.
